race.. this time a former acquaintance
of Senate candidate Jim Webb says he's

engaged in racist behavior.

April A man who interviewed Webb more
than 20- years ago for a Vietnam
veterans magazine told the Washington
Post yesterday that Webb told him he
used racial slurs when he was a college
student in California.

According to Dan Cragg, Webb used
to take drives through a black
neighborhood using racial slurs and
pointing fake guns at blacks to scare
them.

A spokeswoman for Webb says the
Democrat denies the claim.

Political scientist Bob Holsworth
says this is another indicator
character attacks in the Senate
campaign are not ending anytime soon.

A group leader says Allen's

Allen recently expressed regret

didn't always realize it symbolizes
intolerance to some Americans.

accused of molesting a child pleaded
not guilty this morning.

charges.

He's facing 8-counts of rape and
8-counts of Gross Sexual Imposition,
which carry a life sentence.

Police say the victim is now
12-years old but the alleged abuse
happened when was between the ages of 5
and 9--- Police also say Utin confessed

to the crime and to molesting several
other children in Virginia.

Utin's attorney's are now trying
to have that confession thrown out.

Canyon High School will be remembered
here forever.

"He's terrorized our community."

Armed with 2 handguns and claiming to
have explosives, Morrison slipped into
a classroom Wednesday and picked out
six female hostages. Police say he
sexually assaulted at least some of
them before releasing four girls.

"He did traumatize and assault our
children /edit/ I'll only say it was
sexual in nature."

That's why police say they had no
choice, but to storm the building.
During the confrontation, Morrison
fatally shot a 16- year-old student
before killing himself.

At this point, Police have no idea why
Morrison chose this school and they
have not established any connection
between the suspect and his hostages.

They do know Morrison who was from
denver.. had been living in his car and
had minor criminal record dating back
to 19-73. And while the investigation
continues, people here are coming to
grips with the tragedy that reminds
many of the nearby Columbine massacre
years ago.

This is something that's changed my
school, changed my community. My small
county is gone."

School is cancelled for the rest of the
week as people here pray for the
victims and pray something like this
never happens again.

over 1-hundred cars vying for 42 spots
in the Bailey's 3-hundred. It'a a race
that has seen many drivers move on to

We're talking about the Valero station
on Main Street in Pearisburg.

A worker there discovered today that
gasoline and kerosene were accidentally
mixed together. Anyone using it could

away.

The empress was born a Danish
princess and was married off to a
