Not much Jean, he's a juvenile so his
name is not being released.

and this all came about after Roanoke
City Police received a tip that a
student may be coming to school with a
gun.

Around 11 o'clock this morning, the
student walked into Patrick Henry and
checked in at the attendance office.
School resource officers then
immediately arrested the teen.
According to Roanoke police, he was
found to be carrying a handgun.
Investigators won't say whether the
gun was in fact loaded.
Administrators then sent a letter
home to parents today. In it, they
stress at no time were other students
at Patrick Henry High School threatened
by the student with the weapon.

Hainstock walked into the high school
with a handgun -this morning
When the principal confronted the
teen-police say the teen fired shots
hitting principal John Klang in the
head, chest, and leg.
A custodian and other students
helped get the gun away from the
ninth-grade shooter.
No one else was hurt.
Police say the Hainstock is being
charged as an adult with first degree
intentional homicide.

And in Colorado, investigators
are revealing more details about the
suspect who triggered a deadly hostage
standoff inside a high school there.
Relatives of Duane Morrison
received a letter he had mailed just
before the episode.... acknowledging
his pending death, and apologizing for
things that would occur.
Investigators say the letter
never made any reference to the school,
to specific students, or to harming
anyone.
The letter appears to have been
written over several days, while he was
living in a Denver area hotel.

investigating TWO separate cases of
neglect and abuse involving the
elderly.

VO-NAT The first happened on August 6th.
Police say an 85 year old woman
was badly burned in a car fire in Floyd
County.
But the woman was NOT taken to
Montgomery Regional Hospital until SIX
days later.

Police have charged the woman's
son, 45 year old Randy Herbert Sowers
with abuse and neglect of an
incapacitated adult.
The victim died on August 20th.
Police are still deciding whether to
place more serious charges against
Sowers.

escape custody.

accused of conspiring with his brother,
William Morva.
William got away from a deputy
last month and sparked a two day man
hunt.
He's accused of killing a
hospital guard and a sheriff's deputy.

Investigators say William mailed
Michael letters, cards and other forms
of writing.
Police believe the letters could
show how Michael may have helped his
brother escape.

space for a town hall meeting Tuesday
night.
However, after concerns raised by
the Martinsville mayor and others, the

bicycles as part of its "Blue Bikes"
program-- which is meant to get people
to exercise.

card which will unlock a bike from any
locker.
The program kicks off tomorrow at
Kemper Street Station.
