bringing a gun to school.

school with a gun.

Officers and staff at PH were then
put on high alert.

Around 11 o'clock this morning, the
14 year old male student walked into
the school and checked in at the
attendance office.

School resource officers then
immediately arrested the teen.
According to Roanoke police, he was
found to be carrying a handgun.

Investigators won't say whether the
gun was in fact loaded.

Administrators then sent a letter
home to parents today. In it, they
stress at no time were other students
at Patrick Henry High School threatened
by the student with the weapon.

Michael's home in Blacksburg, looking

for more clues into how William escaped
custody and sparked a deadly 37-hour
manhunt.

That inmate is his younger brother
William, who's facing capital murder
charges for the deaths of a security
officer and a sheriff's deputy.

Michael was arrested the morning
William allegedly went on the lam.
Police say he told them he and William
had discussed escaping jail back in
January. But according to a search
warrant, investigators also discovered
that William mailed Michael letters,
cards and other forms of writing.

They searched his home on Tom's Creek
Road this month. Police believe the

letters could show how Michael may have
helped his brother. >>

NattyMac had offered to pay for the
space for a meeting Tuesday night.
