a death trap as a gunman opened fire.
A number of people were killed
and injured including the shooter.
The 911 call came mid-morningtroopers
tried to talk to the shooter who
had taken some children hostage.

feet together.

style in the head.

Police say the shooter was 32 year old
Charles Carl Roberts , a milk
deliveryman who lived in a nearby town.
His wife found notes that he
left at their home, indicating he
seeking revenge for something that
happened 20 years ago.

young female victims
The Amish like their children to be
educated among their ownaway from
public schools. But now these
religious people, committed to peace,
know the violence that has become all
too frequent in American schools.
It is the nation's third deadly school
shooting in less than a week.

giving Goodyear 72 hours to finalize a
new contract or its members will go on
strike.

Steelworkers have remained on the
job without a new contract since July
22nd, while both sides continued their

the highway for nearly four hours
today.

State police say a dump truck
smashed into a car-- the chain reaction
crash involvied two more vehicles and

It was other drivers who pulled a
Tennessee couple from the burning car.

truck driver 81 year old Robert
Overstreet of Vinton with reckless
driving.
He along with four others were
takent o the hospital.. but police say
amazingly it appears everyone is going
to be okay.
The crash left a big mess on the
highway.
Local firefighters in training were
called in to help clean up. It took
hours and left part of 81 closed until
after one this afternoon.

spend time in jail, even though a judge
granted her home detention.

arrested nearly two-weeks ago after

puppies at a property on Ridgecrest
Drive. A district court judge
decided this morning she was eligible

from the internet.
Before she could be released- she
was indicted on seven-felony charges

money by false pretense, forgery,
uttering and money laundering.

Finnegan will get the ball to Brandon
Dillard who shows why the coaches like
him. He breaks free and just explodes
63 yards into the endzone for the
second Tech TD of the day.

George Michael was arrested after he
was found passed out in his car with
marijuana in his possesion.

The 43-year-old singer was found
slumped over the wheel of his vehicle,
around three in the morning.
Police were alerted to the situation
by a worried motorists who said the car
was blocking traffic.
Michael just kicked off a 25 stop
tour last week. It is his first tour
in years.
