attracted the national attention he's

getting now.

The FBI is examining Foley's email
exchanges with under-age congressional
Pages to determine if they violated
federal law. And while that
proceeds....Democrats are demanding to
know why key Republicans, including
House Speaker Dennis Hastert, did not
publicize Foley's alleged misconduct
when made aware of it six months ago.

"If in fact they knew, the leaders
should be punished , at a minimum by
resignation of their leadership posts."

A spokesman for Hastert says, the
Speaker knew about one email exchange
with a young page, but didn't know it
was sexually explicit.

The White House says they President
just found out about it last week.

"The President was not aware of this.
It's a shocking revelation to see this

type of allegation."

This scandal could not have come at a
worse time for the GOP. With midterm
elections just five weeks away,
Republicans are scrambling to maintain
control of Congress. Until he abruptly
resigned, Foley was considered a lock
to be re-elected. Democrats need only
15 seats to grab control of the House.

In a twist of irony, Foley was formerly
co-chairman of the House caucus on
missing and exploited children...and he
also helped write key provisions of the
Child Protection and Safety Act. Susan

this one showing 9-11 ringleader
Mohammed Atta and another hijacker,
Ziad Jarrah smiling and laughing.

date, January 18th, 2-thousand.

That would have been a year and 8
months before Atta crashed an American

Airlines jet into the World Trade
Center and Jarrah was in the cockpit of
United Flight 93 when it crashed in
Pennsylvania.

London's Sunday Times says the
video was taken at an al Qaida training
camp Afghanistan.

The tape also includes Osama bin
Laden addressing a group of his
followers.

weekend, accused of distributing
prescription pills to a 15-year old
near an elementary school.

As Jean Jadhon reports, Halifax
County drug investigators say they
seized drugs and property totaling well
over 150-thousand dollars.

on Cowford Road in Halifax.. He's is
now facing 27 charges-- including
conspiracy to distribute cocaine,

morphine, oxycodone, methadone and
marijuana. He's also charged with
possession of drugs with intent to
distribute near school property-

This is not the first time
Wilmouth's been arrested. He was
charged back in March.. and since then
investigators have been tracking him.

Investigators also seized a large
amount of pills, powder cocaine, more
than 100 firearms-- thousands of rounds
of amunition and more.. including
computers, riding lawn mowers, chain
saws, fishing rods, stereo equipment,
digital cameras, weed eaters, boats,

Last night, at the Pilot Truck
Stop in Botetourt County, a truck
driver parked his truck, took out his
keys and walked into a Subway.

Witnesses say moments
later...another man hopped in the truck
which was loaded with DELL computers
and took off.

Police were called to the scene
and started tracking the truck.

The thief went about 50 miles and
was later arrested on Interstate 64.

The truck is now back on it's
way, with it's original driver.

7 viewer helped them find a pickpocket.

May Hidden cameras show this man :00 using a stolen credit card at the
Christiansburg Walmart.

We aired the video in June and
someone called police identifying the
man as 30 year old Joseph Anthony Dixon
of Dublin.

He's charged with 4-counts of
forging credit card receipts and one

count of credit card fraud.

Police say Dixon stole a wallet
at Claytor Lake and then used the
credit cards.

Dixon is out of jail on bond.

A teenager left her purse on a
bench and from this surveliance video
you can see an older man walking off
with it.

Here's video of the couple as
they leave the store with the purse.

It happened on September 16 at
around 9:00 at night.

Housing Facility.

The new dorm will also allow the

weekend, accused of distributing
prescription pills to a 15-year old
near an elementary school.

As Jean Jadhon reports, Halifax
County drug investigators say they
seized drugs and property totaling well
over 150-thousand dollars.

on Cowford Road in Halifax.. He's is
now facing 27 charges-- including
conspiracy to distribute cocaine,
morphine, oxycodone, methadone and
marijuana. He's also charged with

distribute near school property-

This is not the first time
Wilmouth's been arrested. He was
charged back in March.. and since then
investigators have been tracking him.

Investigators also seized a large
amount of pills, powder cocaine, more
than 100 firearms-- thousands of rounds
of amunition and more.. including
computers, riding lawn mowers, chain
saws, fishing rods, stereo equipment,
digital cameras, weed eaters, boats,

attracted the national attention he's
getting now.

The FBI is examining Foley's email
exchanges with under-age congressional
Pages to determine if they violated
federal law. And while that
proceeds....Democrats are demanding to
know why key Republicans, including
House Speaker Dennis Hastert, did not
publicize Foley's alleged misconduct
when made aware of it six months ago.

"If in fact they knew, the leaders
should be punished , at a minimum by
resignation of their leadership posts."

A spokesman for Hastert says, the
Speaker knew about one email exchange
with a young page, but didn't know it
was sexually explicit.

It's a shocking revelation to see this
type of allegation."

This scandal could not have come at a
worse time for the GOP. With midterm
elections just five weeks away,
Republicans are scrambling to maintain

resigned, Foley was considered a lock
to be re-elected. Democrats need only
15 seats to grab control of the House.

In a twist of irony, Foley was formerly
co-chairman of the House caucus on
missing and exploited children...and he
also helped write key provisions of the

smiling and laughing.

weekend, accused of distributing
prescription pills to a 15-year old
near an elementary school.

As Jean Jadhon reports, Halifax
County drug investigators say they
seized drugs and property totaling well
over 150-thousand dollars.

on Cowford Road in Halifax.. He's is
now facing 27 charges-- including
conspiracy to distribute cocaine,

This is not the first time
Wilmouth's been arrested. He was
charged back in March.. and since then
investigators have been tracking him.

Investigators also seized a large
amount of pills, powder cocaine, more

saws, fishing rods, stereo equipment,

driver parked his truck, took out his

The thief went about 50 miles and

Congressman Mark Foley's email
exchanges with teenagers to determine
if they violated federal law. Foley
resigned Friday when details of
allegedly sexually explicit e-mails
were made public.

close to capturing Al Qaeda's leader
Abu Ayyub al-Masri, but they have not
clamped down on violence even with a
weekend curfew in place.

Two more U-S soldiers were killed

May Hidden cameras show this man :00 using a stolen credit card at the

Christiansburg Walmart.

We aired the video in June and
someone called police identifying the
man as 30 year old Joseph Anthony Dixon
of Dublin.

He's charged with 4-counts of
forging credit card receipts and one
count of credit card fraud.

Police say Dixon stole a wallet
at Claytor Lake and then used the
credit cards.

Dixon is out of jail on bond.

A teenager left her purse on a
bench and from this surveliance video
you can see an older man walking off
with it.

Here's video of the couple as
they leave the store with the purse.

students.

space for the new Maple Avenue Student
Housing Facility.

The three story building will be
51-thousand square feet and house more
than 200 students.

The new dorm will allow also the
university to increase its enrollment.
Currently the enrollment is about 700
students.

The dorm is scheduled to open in
the fall of 2007.

ENG#1 Halifax County drug investigators say

they seized drugs and property over the
weekend totaling well over 150-thousand
dollars. 42 year old Dennis Wilmouth,
also known as Rat, was arrested and is
now facing 27 charges. The Sheriff
called it the largest seizure of
firearms and merchandise he's seen in
his career--- and he says more arrests

are expected.

A land rover ended up almost vertical
with a utility pole on Buck Mountain
Road in Roanoke County yesterday..

The 17 year old who was driving said
she thought she was going to hit a road
sign.....so she slammed on the brake..
but hit the gas by mistake. That's when
the vehicle ran up the pole.

No one was hurt.

in Christiansburg is now open to the

public. Visitors have a chance to take
a hayride out to a 20 acre pumpkin
