VDOT says an overturned
camper has closed the Northbound lanes
in Montgomery County.

The crash happened near mile
marker 120, just north of
Christiansburg.

VDOT recommends northbound
drivers detour onto Route 460.

There's no word yet on when
that accident will be cleaned up or if
anyone has been injured.

armed robbery suspect who may be tied
to a death on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The Augusta County Sheriff's Office
says 37-year-old William Ashby of
Savannah robbed and shot a store clerk
in Georgia, then stole her car.

Police found the stolen car
yesterday at a Parkway overlook in
Augusta County, and a body was found
nearby.

Police say Ashby was last believed
to have been driving another car with
South Carolina plates. The Toyota
Corolla belongs to a University of
Virginia student who's been reported
missing.

weekend, accused of distributing
prescription pills to a 15-year old
near an elementary school.

As Jean Jadhon reports, Halifax
County drug investigators say they
seized drugs and property totaling well
over 150-thousand dollars.

on Cowford Road in Halifax.. He's is

now facing 27 charges-- including
conspiracy to distribute cocaine,

This is not the first time
Wilmouth's been arrested. He was
charged back in March.. and since then
investigators have been tracking him.

Investigators also seized a large
amount of pills, powder cocaine, more
than 100 firearms-- thousands of rounds

computers, riding lawn mowers, chain
saws, fishing rods, stereo equipment,
digital cameras, weed eaters, boats,

Portis ran for 112 yards and a score
while Mark Brunell and Santana Moss did
the rest against the Jacksonville
