This past summer gypsy moths invaded
nearly ten thousand acres on Poor and
Bent Mountains.

The insects feasted on the foliage,
stripping many trees bare and experts
fear it's only going to get worse.

Roanoke city jail Monday night.

name...he's the brother of suspected
cop killer William Morva...

Michael claims two men
punched and kicked him until he was
unconscious.

In a written complaint, Morva
says he was bleeding profusely from
head and neck injuries.

The city jail confirms Morva was
taken to the hospital for treatment,
though "he did not sustain any
life-threatening injuries," according
to Sheriff's Department Spokeswoman
Patricia Johnson.

Morva is in the Roanoke jail,
accused of conspiring to help his
brother escape.

has been given a makeover after a fire

badly damaged it.

fire.

Investigators believe it started
on a couch on the front porch.

It was considered suspicious, but
no one was charged.

The nearly 100 year old structure

Six fraternity brothers live
there now, and they are holding an open
house this weekend.

part-time basis next season. Ken

full schedule on the Busch Series in

Also, Stacy Compton will not be
