Imports have increased by
nine-hundred-thirty billion dollars.

VO-NAT Kaine is urging all first
responders to use plain English instead
of codes that begin with the number
ten....
It's an effort to get rid of
miscommunication, especially in
emergency situations where time is of
the essence....perfect example, the
I-81 accident...several different
jurisdictions responded and not all of
them have the same ten codes....
Most fire departments have already
converted to common language.
But police departments argue ten codes
can be vital when dealing with an
officer's safety, or information you
don't want the suspect to hear, like a
hostage situation.
