One of the options is to scrap the

strategic truck climbing lanes as well
as improving safety at some
interchanges-- including one in
Roanoke.

allegations coming out of the close

The latest report is that Senator
Allen never told Congress about stock
options he acquired as a board member

The Republican joined three
corporate firms after leaving the
governor's office in 19- 98, all high-
tech businesses he'd helped as
Governor.

Congressional rules require
senators to disclose all details like
this.

Allen says the stock options were
worthless, and he believed he did not
have to report them.
