high school sports for decades.

but that facility hasn't been renovated
in years and is falling apart.

So the Montgomery County School Board
wants a a 3-thousand seat stadium on 86
acres off Price's Fork Road.

Roanoke County hopes to complete the

The company says falling energy

more than 15 percent.

Richmond last night, for the final
televised debate for the November
election, which is four weeks from
today.

Only 30 per cent of the people
questioned said they watched the
debate, but of those who DID watch,

48 per cent said George Allen was the
winner. 38 per cent went with Webb, and
14 cent there was no clear winner.

But did it change anyone's impression
of the candidates --

37 per cent said they had a more
favorable opinion of Allen after
watching, 31 per cent less so.

Fairly similar numbers for Webb - 38
per cent more favorable, although 36
per cent thought less of him after the
debate.

three-quarters of a million dollars.

were pulled out of a storm drain in San
Deigo, after border agents caught them
on survelliance cameras.

The agents ordered them out of the
drain, and on the way out, one person
got stuck. So fire crews used
jackhammers to widen the drain and
