This frenzy of meetings and statements
follows North Korea's announcement
Monday that it had successfully tested
a nuclear device. That has not been

Korea could fire a nuclear tipped
missile, if the U.S. didn't act to
resolve the standoff. Washington
rejected the notion of direct talks and
said it s not intimidated by North

this morning.

Early this morning the border patrol
got word there were cries for help just
below the border fence.
When they got there, agents and
firefighters found seven people.. both
men and women sneaking through a crude,
makeshift tunnel.
One man was too large for the two
foot by two foot opening and got stuck,
trapping a couple of others.
It took almost two hours to free the
group.

knocked out of the playoffs, that Joe
Torre would be losing his job due to
the failure to advance in the
post-season.

club. They have made the playoffs each

running to court.

Jennifer Wilbanks is best known for
causing a national manhunt after taking
off just days before her wedding in
2005.
Now she is suing her former finace.
Wilbanks and John C. Mason broke up
for good in May.
She is seeking $250,000 as her share
of a home Mason purchased with
proceeds from the money the couple
received after agreeing to sell their
story.
The lawsuit also seeks $250,000 in
punitive damages.
