today against the Blacksburg man
accused of helping his brother escape
jail.

That inmate is his younger
brother, 24 year old William Morva.
William Morva is charged with
three counts of capital murder in the
deaths of two officers.

faking an injury and getting to the
local hospital to escape.

Snipes.. tried to beat the tax man.

Snipes appeared in the Blade movies

contamination.

sports this weekend is over according
to the President of the Univeristy of
Miami.
Donna Shalala held a news
conference today and said that despite
intense public pressure she will not
punish any Miami athlete with
additional sanctions or suspensions.

Meanwhile, Florida International
took a much harsher stance --
dismissing two players from the team
today and extending the suspensions of
all other 16 sanctioned players
indefinitely.
The 16 suspended FIU players will
be placed on athletic probation for the
remainder of the academic calendar
year, must complete 10 hours of anger
management counseling, and will
undertake a community service project
to educate South Florida youth on
appropriate behavior as related to
athletics.
