Michael Morva was in court
yesterday morning, charged with
conspiracy to help an inmate escape.

That inmate is William Morva.

Back in August, police say
William got away from a deputy at the
Montgomery County Hospital and shot and
killed security guard Derrick
McFarland.

Police say William then went on
the run, and a day later, shot and
killed Corporal Eric Sutphin on the
Huckleberry Trail.

< year old Michael Morva has proclaimed
his innocence.

NATS: Michael Morva: my brother's the
killer alright.. i didn't do
anything...

But prosecutors are now proclaiming
their case.

BRAD FINCH: 11:38:00 DID MICHAEL HELP
HIS BROTHER :40 WELL WE CERTAINLY FEEL
THAT HE DID AND WE FEEL THAT WE WILL BE
ABLE TO CONVINCE A JUDGE OR JURY IN

CIRCUIT COURT OF THE SAME FACTS. :4

Michael and William were in the same
cell block at the Montgomery County
jail for five days in January.

An investigator says Michael told him
at that time... he and William had
extensively discussed

how to fake injuries and how to get to
the local hospital to escape.

The investigator says Michael also told
him William wanted his family to send
him notebook paper with blue, black and
purple ink on it, so he could soak it
in water and put the ink on his body to
fake an injury. And the investigator
says Michael and William also discussed
using deoderant body spray so the
tracking dogs couldn't follow his
trail.

The investigator says Michael admitted
to telling his brother he would help
him, but also said he ONLY agreed to
get his brother off his back.

JEFFREY OPPLEMAN: 10:07:00 HE NEVER
PARTICIPATED IN ANY PLAN, AT ALL HIS
BROTHER MAY HAVE WANTED.. HIS BROTHER
COURSE UNDERGOING PYSCHIATRICT
EVALUATION AND I UNDERSTAND THERE'S A
LONG HISTORY OF MENTAL ILLNESS SO WHO

COULD TAKE HIS BROTHER SERIOUSLY ABOUT
ANYTHING. :19

But the night of William's escape
Police say Michael went to the
Christiansburg Walmart and bought
deoderant body spray and a sandwhich.
They say he drove around for a while
and then went home. Police knocked on
his door early that morning looking for
William.

After they left Michael told police he
went to the Huckleberry trail at the
NRV mall.

He seen here being arrested at 5:00 in
the morning.. less than a mile from the
hospital where William espaped.

RACHEL DEPOMPA: The judge found their
was enough evidence and the conspiracy
charge against Michael is headed to a
grand jury. Rachel DePompa, News 7 >>

diagnosed in the each year at least 3
are men. That's about 1 percent of all
breast cancer cases.

IGNORE THE SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS ON

AVERAGE IN MEN IT'S A 10 MONTH DELAY

ACTUAL DIAGNOSIS

For men the breast cancer symptoms
can include a bump around or near the
nipple, and inverted nipple, nipple
drainage, itching or scaling around the
nipple, and redness or ulcerations on
the breast.

it had spread to his lymph nodes.

brother, 24 year old William Morva.

William Morva is charged with
three counts of capital murder in the
deaths of two officers.

In court yesterday, we learned
Michael Morva told police he and his
brother had talked extensively about
faking an injury and getting to the
local hospital to escape.

Michael also told police he and
his brother talked about using body
spray deodorant so tracking dogs
couldn't follow a scent.

The night William escaped, police

say Michael bought body spray

Schrock's Draper Road property because
it had been contaminated by the city's

But a judge recently ruled Bedford
was overstepping its authority and
could not seize the land for its own
use.

Instead, both sides reached an
agreement where the city will buy
Schrock's property ... and he, in turn,
would drop his 2-and a half- million
