still searching for a man they say
tried to shoot his wife.

Deputies responded to a domestic
call with shots fired at around 5:30
yesterday evening.

Marshall Metz, Junior, was
believed to have barricaded himself
inside the home on Towes Ferry Road in
Newbern.

But when police forced their way
inside, he was nowhere to be found.

Police say Metz is wanted for
attempted malicious wounding.

of molesting a child.

month on an aggravated sexual battery
charge plus two counts of forcible
sodomy.

The prosecutor says the incident
happened six years ago with a girl
under the age of 13.

have her son tonight after a boating
accident nearly took his life.

VO-NAT 28 year-old Kevin Ferrell was the


only survivor when his commercial
fishing boat capsized.

The accident happened yesterday
around 2 PM local time about 60 miles
from Sand Point, Alaska.

The crew was on a fishing
expedition when their boat met severe
waves sending everyone overboard.

US Coast Guards airlifted Ferrell
to safety.

The bodies of two of his crew
members were recovered but the search
continues for the last fisherman.

his heart muscle.

"dirty bomb" attacks on N-F-L stadiums
this week.

that conclusion after agents questioned
a 20 year old Milwaukee man.

Agents say he has been released,
but they still want to talk to him and

The family will meet the first

lady when the tree is delivered to the
White House in November.
