consulting firm IMG.

He did not attend the joint
meeting, but told us he is disappointed
with the way this issue has developed.

He said he still has not been
given the opportunity to talk with any

of the people who are accusing him of a
conflict of interest.

Roanoke man who shot a police officer
in the foot and then barricaded himself
in his home for several hours this past
summer.

July 12 Ricky Edward Davis eventually
laid down his gun and came out
peacefully, but the stand-off created a
stir in southeast Roanoke.

A Vinton Police sergeant was shot
as he was checking Davis for weapons.

Sgt. Ben Cook said he had seen
Davis sitting in a car with a syringe
in his hand, so he approached to
investigate.

Lynchburg man his life.

VO-NAT 28 year-old Kevin Ferrell was


aboard the Ocean Challenger yesterday
when the commercial fishing boat
capsized, sending all four crew members
overboard.

Ferrell was the only one to
survive.

The U-S Coast Guard says the
accident happened around 2:00 p.m.
local time about 60 miles from Sand
Point, Alaska.
