thousand sexual predators online.

10- to 17 will be solicited at least
once, but few ever tell their parents.

Officials hope teaching students

police will be allowed in court when he
goes on trial early next year.

A judge made that ruling this
morning after a 2 1/2 hour hearing in
Ohio.

Utin is the former Blacksburg
teacher and swim club manager who is
now facing 16 charges in Butler County.

Investigators say Utin confessed
to molesting a young girl, and his
attorneys were trying to suppress his
statements to police.

This morning, the judge ruled

the week of January 22nd.

years and four months in prison for his
role in one of the biggest corporate
scandals in U-S history.

Thousand of jobs, more than 60
billion dollars in Enron stock and more

assailant John Hinckley Junior can
continue to visit his parents home in
Virginia without hospital staff
supervision.

Hinckley has been confined to a
hospital since he was found not guilty
by reason of insanity of the 1981
shooting of President Ronald Reagan.

Last December, the judge ruled
Hinckley could make seven multiple day
visits to his parents.

At a hearing today, federal
prosecutors sought to block the visits
over concerns his aging parents are
experiencing health problems and may
not be up to the task of serving as his
custodians.

The judge agreed to let the
visits continue but said he could end
up deciding to add one of Hinckley's
siblings as a custodian on the visits.

league pitcher and college student has
been called off for the night in
Grayson County.

23 year old Erik James Walker
went under water at around 12:30
Saturday afternoon and never came back
up.

with a friend and their canoe capsized.

As the two were trying to get the
canoe back to land, Walker went under
when they hit deep water.

Searchers have been looking for
three days now, using a helicopter to
scan from above as well as people
walking the shoreline.

Fifteen divers are looking
UNDERwater, but they say the current is
making the search hard.

the New River Valley.

It happened just after one
o'clock this morning at a home in the
17-hundred block of West Street in
Radford.

Once firefighters got the fire
under control, they discovered the
owner, 49 year old Alma Mae Jackson,
dead inside.

A dog was also found dead.

Investigators believe the fire
was accidental.

officials to resolve this issue.

The Fire Marshall says the
investigation on yesterday's fire will
take several days to complete.

According to her publicist, Jane
Wyatt died Friday in her sleep of
natural causes at her home in Bel-Air,
California.

Wyatt had a successful film
career in the 1930's and 40's notably
as Ronald Coleman's lover in 1937's
"Lost Horizon."

She also became known to "Star
Trek" fans as Amanda, the human mother
of the half-Vulcan Mr. Spock.

Wyatt was 96 years old.

trouble this morning in Washington.....

Animal control spotted the deer
in the water of the tidal basin....near
the Jefferson Memorial.

As you can see, crews were able
to snag the deer's head and lead it to
shore.

At that point, more workers were
able to slide to it to the grass where
it was checked for injuries.
