raised him.
Today the 15-year old Roanoke
County boy was ordered to serve the
next 24 years in custody- -starting in
juvenile justice, followed by hard time
in the state pen.
Keith Humphry was in court when
the sentence was pronounced.

Grayson County.

Saturday afternoon and never came back
up.

Searchers have been looking for
three days now.

neighbors want to know why a nearby
fire hydrant failed.

The Roanoke County Fire Marshall
says the investigation will take
several days to complete.
He says all of the hydrant issues
will be left for the town and/or county
to deal with.
The Falling Creek Subdivision is
located in Roanoke County, but everyone
there gets water from the town of
Vinton.
In a press release, town
officials said they would make every
effort to correct the pressure problem
with the hydrant.

several driving violations stemming
from wrecks this afternoon.

Blanco Dudley was chasing his
ex-girlfriend when they crashed at 5th
and Shenandoah.
Dudley left the scene, but was
involved in another wreck at 12th and
Chapman Avenue.
That's where police say he hit a
pedestrian and two other cars.
Three people were taken to the
hospital.

(END SOT) Mike O'Cain if he up on the wrong side
of the field Thursday night.
O'Cain is not only a South
Carolina native, who was the
quarterback, the punter, the captain,
and the most valuable player on the
1976 Clemson football team.
Plus, his last coaching stop
before joining the Tech staff was in -
you guessed it - Death Valley.

The tie that binds the two teams
this season is woven even deeper - in
1975 O'Cain played alongside tight end
Stan Rome who later went on to play
with the Kansas City Chiefs. Rome was
a two sport star for the Clemson Tigers
- and he also just happens to be the
father of Hokies' senior offensive
Tackle Brandon Frye.

Frye grew up in Myrtle Beach and
as a kid always thought he would play
for the Tigers.
Instead the former National
Science honors society student will
graduate from Tech this December with a
degree in fiance.

Last Saturday-ESPN James Davis earned A-C-C
:00 offfensive back of the week honors
after rushing for a career-high 216
yards on 21 carries and scoring a pair
of touchdowns in the Tigers' 31-7
victory over Georgia Tech on Saturday.
If that wasn't good enough. The
Tigers C.J. Spiller was named the ACC's
rookie of the week. Spiller had 170
total yards of offense and also scored
two touchdowns.

has discovered three tombs...all thanks
to some unlucky thieves who led the
team right to them.

The tombs belonged to three
dentists that worked on the pharohs...
They were unveiled on Sunday at the
Saqqara pyramid complex south of
Cairo....
Experts pointed out a two
stacked hieroglyph, an eye over a tusk,
that appeared frequently among the
tombs' doors, that he said identify the
men as dentists.
But the finding brought with a
warning....a curse inscription just
inside the entrance to one of the
tombs.
