find out why a fire hydrant's water
pressure isn't strong enough.

This past weekend firefighters
found out just how low the pressure was
as they worked a house fire on
Toddsbury Drive in Roanoke County.

Now the town is taking action.

man who died Sunday when his plane
crashed in Halifax County.

Williams was piloting the open cockpit
experimental plane when it went down
near the community of Elmo. He was
flying from Ridgeway to Greensboro.

living in a hotel at the Greensboro

GRAPHIC=BUSINESS NEWS A Salem company came clean

about environmental violations, and
saved itself from a huge fine.

The Environmental Protection
Agency says last November, Novozymes
Biologicals reported potential
violations at its facilities in Salem.

Most dealt with failure to file
paperwork and reports with the EPA and
local emergency services organizations.

Because Novozymes came forward
about the mistakes, the EPA has waived
what could have been a 764-thousand
dollar penalty.

the Oprah Winfrey show late last week.

But on the eve of Clemson's

McElrathbey's role with the Tigers has
been primarily on special teams, but
he's been a special ray of hope for his
family and earlier this year, through
an unusual waiver allowed the
University to setup a trust fund for
Fahmarr, for living expenses. To date,
the fund has accumulated more than 50
thousand dollars.
