In 1989, Cathy Maxfield Coleman
killed her boyfriend in self- defense.

She's afraid the amendment will
wipe- out the progress that's been made
in domestic violence law since then.

Ohio has a similar amendment to
the one being proposed in Virginia.

Voters are now waiting for the
Ohio Supreme Court to decide whether
unmarried domestic violence victims who
live with their abusers are protected
under the law.

That's because the amendment says
the state will not recognize
relationships that resemble marriage-
-which could include co- habitation.

Virginia could face similar problems.

Today, one man took on the task
of getting his family out, and
evacuating dozens of animals, including
Llamas.

But one Llama in particular
wouldn't cooperate.

The owner refused to leave her,
instead pulling her along as he drove
down the mountain.

The man said the Llama has always
been stubborn, but he would never leave
her behind.

most of them just ended up eating the

help them play a game out smarting one
