Roanoke this afternoon.

As dozens of City firefighters
responded to a warehouse fire at
Universal Steel Incorporated.

Avenue.

Significant smoke and flames
billowed from the building.

It took fire fighters about 30
minutes to get the fire under control.

searching for two men-- who they say
robbed a man at an ATM last night.

at the Wachovia Bank on Electric Road.

The victim, Robert Crush, was
getting money from the drive-up ATM
when two men demanded his wallet.

They got away with an undisclosed

amount of cash.

Crush pursued them in his car.

Police say the two men fired
shots at him hitting his windshield.

Crush was not injured.

in the country-- and it was held today
in Virginia.

30-thousand runners took part in
the 31st Marine Corps Marathon.

Runners started in Arlington, and
went into Washington, D.C...a total of
26-point-two miles.

Along the way they passed the
Korean War-and Vietnam Veteran's
Memorials.

The race came to an end at the
Marine Corps War Memorial.

The winning time was just under
two and a half hours.

However-the race wasn't incident
free.

Two men suffered apparent heart
attacks during the race, one of them

died-the other is in the hospital.

the Nextel Cup had their troubles today
in Atlanta, and non-Chaser Tony Stewart
was there to take advantage, recording
his 4th win of the season.

NBC Sports Jeff Gordon had the lead early in :00 the race, but spun out after contact
with Jamie McMurray, before recovering
to finish 6th.

Kasey Kahne tangled with David
Stremme, taking both drivers out of

The caution flew again with under
20 laps to go. Dale Jarrett, Sterling
Marlin, and Mark Martin were all
involved in this mess.

But there was no such trouble
for Tony Stewart who held off Jimmie
Johnson and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. to take
the checkered flag. Johnson is now
second in points, 26 behind Matt
Kenseth who finished 4th.
