factory in Texas ... while it tries
hiring temporary workers to keep other
plants open, including the one in
Danville.

Striking union workers there today
were less than pleased with the latest
developments.

stove likely started a deadly fire in
Rockbridge County this morning.

adjoining trailers in the Arnolds
Valley area.

Firefighters got the call
around 3:45 a-m, but the Glasgow fire
chief say there was little they could
do to save the two people inside.

They've been identified as

Richmond early this morning and a wood
stove may have been what sparked it.

Firefighters say the heat was so
intense and the flames so high they had
to fight the fire from outside for fear
the roof would collapse- and it did..
Two people are dead although their
identifies have not been released.


Neighbors say the 40 year old man who
lived in the house used a wood stove
for heat.. that may be where the fire
started.

Last Thursday Branden Ore picks up the league's :00 offensive player of the week award for
the second time this seasoin. Ore was
the Hokies' offense in the team's
24-to-7 upset win of Clemson last
Thursday. The sophomore rushed for 203
yards and two touchdowns on a
career-high 37 carries against a
defense that came into the game
allowing just an average of 72.0 yards
per game.

Ore and the Hokies take on Miami
this Saturday night at 8 and Tech is
favored by two and a half points.
