Two days of tryouts are complete
here in Roanoke. Of the 750 people
that headed downtown Monday evening...

145 made it to the final round which
was held right here at WDBJ7 earlier
today!.....

But that number was wittled down
again after a 50 question test....

And you might recognize one of the
winners....she was the first one to
pass the semi-final round, we actually
talked to her last night and caught up
with her again today!

It's the biggest ghost hunt in

history...in the dark woods at Alton
Towers in England...2-thousand poeple
showed up to meet some spirits...

Sure the castle itself is spooky,
but it's actually this tree that holds
the legend.....As the story goes, a
witch cursed this ancient oak tree,
that every time a branch broke a member
of the Alton family would die....and
they did until the Earl CHAINED every
branch he could manage.

And on Halloween night, these ghost
hunters hope to meet some of the
curse's victims.
