GRAPHIC=Lineberry Carroll A Galax man is accused of

murdering two men.

And it all started IN Galax over
the weekend....but it ended last night
outside Knoxville, Tennessee.

Police say Carrol Lineberry
killed a security guard as he was
patrolling school grounds against
Halloween vandalism at a high school
outside of Knoxville.

Now, the security guard had
actually radioed that he spotted a dark
car with Virginia tags and later
alerted he had been shot.

The suspect then stole the
guard's car and led police on a wild
chase in the Knoxville area.

Once police stopped the car, they
arrested Lineberry.

Authorities have charged him with
murder.

Officers later discovered the car
Lineberry was driving at the high
school belonged to another man from
Galax, who was also found murdered.

its start at this small home in Galax.
Until this weekend, there hadn't been a
murder in the city for more than 5
years.

old Neal Jackson Hutton. Galax police
showed up after they got a call from
authorities in Tennessee.

Tennessee tv stations are reporting
Hutton was stabbed to death, but Galax
police are not confirming the cause of
death. Hutton has no family in the area
and neighbors say he kept to himself.

Police say 39 year old Carroll O'Neal
Lineberry killed Hutton. They say the
two men were acquaitenaces. They plan
to charge Lineberry with capital murder
robbery and grand larceny.

prank happened nearly two years ago,
those who run the Salem Civic Center
were furious.

2005 when the comedian Sacha Baron
Cohen better known as Ali G made a stop
at the Salem Civic Center.

There, he tricked organizers into
allowing him to sing the national
anthem at a rodeo.

He made a mockery out of it prompting
an angry response from the crowd.

man in connection with a California
wildfire that killed five firefighters
and destroyed dozens of homes.

VO-NAT 37 year old Raymond Oyler was

arrested yesterday on charges of
setting two wildfires in the area this
past summer.

Oyler as a suspect in the fire that
started last Thursday and burned more
than 40 thousand acres, but as a person
of interest.

The reward for information
leading to an arrest has grown to 550
thousand dollars.

a fire destroyed an older home.

Around 10:30, firefighters were
called to Alfred Martin's farm off
Route 608 east of Stonewall.

That's where a century-old log
cabin had caught fire and was engulfed

in flames.

Crews could do little except let

know which TV station said what," Goode
says.

television stations. They each

Tonight, NASCAR penalized driver
Robby Gordon for intentionally throwing
debris on the track during Sunday's
race at Atlanta. Gordon, who owns his
own race team, was docked 50 driver
points and 50 car owner points and was

fined $15-thousand dollars. The debris
caused NASCAR to call a caution, which
helped Gordon to his tenth-place finish
but hurt Jeff Burton's effort among
other. And Burton is racing for a
championship and Robby Gordon is barely
even racing.

Lynchburg City Managers rounding out
the top-5.

Police Chief Joe Gaskins makes more
than 113-thousand dollars. Montgomery
County's sheriff, Danville, Salem and
Roanoke County chiefs round out the
