weekend in the city.

Thirty-nine year old Russell
Kocur was patrolling the grounds of a
high school to keep anyone from
vandalizing the property on Halloween.

The security guard radioed that
he spotted a darkened car with Virginia
tags.

He later radioed that he had been
shot.

The suspect then stole the
guard's car and led police on a wild
chase in the Knoxville area.

Once police stopped the car, they
arrested Carroll Lineberry and charged
him with killing the school guard with
a 22 caliber gun.

Carolina school this afternoon...smoke
everywhere.

Crews believe it started in an empty
chemistry lab at a high school in
Guilford County.

Students were evacuated shortly
after it started. There were no reports
of students or faculty sustaining
injuries, but two firefighters were
transported to a nearby hospital.

Meanwhile, Haz-mat tests of the

air have not indicated anything toxic
outside.

Administrators say kids will not
be returning to the school this year.

Atlanta. Gordon, who owns his own race
team, was docked 50 driver points and

Gordon to his tenth-place finish but
hurt Jeff Burton's effort among other.
And Burton is racing for a championship
