ANCHOR=NATASHA Henry County's Sheriff...According to a

news seven survey USA poll, that's what
the majority of those that answered the
pollsters' question believe.

When asked what the sheriff
should do...75 percent said resign, 17
percent said take a leave of absense,
five percent said stay on the job,
leaving two percent undecided.

should quit, the Sheriff says he's
staying on the job -- at least for now.

reviewing all cases involving the

judge certified a capital murder charge
against 24 year old William Charles
Morva.

is accused of overpowering a deputy,
taking his gun and shooting Montgomery
Regional Hospital guard Derrick
McFarland before escaping.

Prosecutors revealed in court
today, that they have an eyewitness to
the murder.

A patient in the hospital, the
morning of the shooting says she saw
Morva shoot McFarland.

Morva is also charged with
capital murder in the death of Corporal
Eric Sutphin.

He was shot the following day,
during the manhunt.

Plantation in South Boston. It's a
former tobacco plantation that has been
used as a resort and conference center
in recent years.

The property needs no rezoning and
already contains the facilities

When a Blount County woman heard
her dogs barking louder than usual, she
went to investigate....and spotted a
50 pound black bear stuck in one her
trees....

So state wildlife crews were called
in to the home, that happens to be in
an area that borders the Great Smoky
Mountains National Park.

The bear was tranquilized before it
fell to the ground...but it wasn't hurt
and will be returned to safety.
