OQ=GREAT FOOTBALL GAME." <<

(END SOT) The Bruins rolled into the valley fired

up and they would show that emotion on
the field.

Blacksburg took a 10-to-7 lead
into the lockeroom thanks to this Caleb
Violette 30 yard field goal on the last
play of the first half. And the Bruins
have the crowd a little on edge.

The Bruins' defense was
determined to make that hold up as
Nathan Hopkins takes Mark Hanabury to
the turf for an eight yard loss in the
third quarter as the Bruins headed to
the fourth quarter on top 10-to-7.

Salem thought it had found its
spark when Hanabury connected with Evan
Fisher for a big gain, but the ball
pops out after the catch and the Bruins
recover leaving all of Salem Stadium in
shock.

However, "To be the Man, you have
to beat the Man" and the Spartans would
get final drive from their own 25 and
Fisher shows some guts coming right
back from the fumble and hauling in the
critical third down catch for 21 yards

to the Salem 41 with under three to
play.

Later in the drive Harrison
Hudson finds some serious daylight and
he will put the Spartans in position to
score on the key carry into Bruins'
territory. He gets 32 yards to the
Blacksburg 17.

Then on a second and ten, here
comes the play of the game. Hanabury
rolls out and throws back the other way
to Hudson, who has no one around him
except a couple of blockers.

He scores the second half's only
points and 17 yard TD with only a
minute and seven seconds to go.

Salem wins it 31st straight and
stay unbeaten with a 14-to-10 win.

OQ=Friday Football Extra << On what can only be described as
(END SOT) a night that it would be hard to just

walk up and down a Football Field.
T.J. Price told his George Washington
coaches that he could do more than just
run the ball, he wasn't afraid to put
the pig-skin in the air And well the
Numbers aren't impressive alone 7 for
14 for 3 Touchdowns, they are
considering the conditions he did it
in.

(PRICE BITE:)

Price had already proven himself
in the rain in a game earlier this
season.

(NEWELL BITE:)

The passing game has become a key

part of G.W.'s season. A new offense
was installed to take advantage of
Price's skills that were evident a
couple of years ago.

(NEWELL BITE:)

Price filled in for Martin during
that game and has more than filled the
shoes of the current Virginia Tech
Hokie.

(PRICE BITE:)

The Eagles have a bye weekend to
the end the season and are hoping that
Price's arm and leadership skillsare
hoping that Price's arm can carry them
a long way. In Danville Grant
