hunt for an inmate who broke out of
jail 18 hours ago.

William Marshall Coe Jr. escaped
one minute after midnight on Sunday.

Authorities say he did it by
impersonating another inmate who was
scheduled to be released.

Here's a description of Coe --

He's a white male, 28-years-old,
about 5"9 and weighs 210 pounds.

Coe has multiple tattoos on his
arms, legs and torso.

GRAPHIC=Fatal Fire For the second time this weekend


a house fire has turned deadly.

The latest incident happened last
night on Halifax Road in Danville.

By the the time emergency crews
arrived at the home there was nothing
to save.

Eventually they discovered the
body of 57-year-old Herbert Bowie
inside.

Bowie's body will be sent to
Roanoke on Monday for an autopsy.

Authorities have not specified
the cause of this fire.

Primitive Baptist Church in Franklin
County today arrived to services to
find their church burned to the ground.

Callaway.

The fire apparently started in a
wood stove this morning.

Three companies of firefighters
were too late to save any part of the
all-wooden structure.

The nearest water source was
miles away.

church was quickly destroyed.

marriage amendment act.

called for it's network of more than
3000 member churches to participate
today in what the group is calling
"Marriage Protection Sunday."

Those thousands of churches
across the state are displaying their
commitment to marriage by teaching on

They believe the marriage
amendment will pass or fail based on
the churches response at the polls.

college football poll, 21st in the
Coaches poll following last night's
nailbiter against Miami in the Orange
Bowl.

Brandon Flowers, the Florida
