Too many races are too close to call..

BUSH 19:15:03 were headed to the
finish line and were asking for your

help

President Bush has been on the road
since Thursday trying to rally the

GOP faithful in red states where
Republican candidates face formidable

challenges.

BUSH 15:15:08 if the Democrats are so
good about being the party of the

opposition, let's just keep them in the
opposition

But the publics growing opposition to
the Iraq war has positioned

Democrats for a House takeover. The

Sunday in Connecticut.. where Democrats
are working to oust three at

(Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA))

PELOSI 23:54:06 This is an important
race. It is important because we

need 15 seats to win the House to take
back the Congress for the

American people.

While polls point to a Democratic take

a taller order.

Senator Barak Obama.. lent a hand to
Harold Ford in Tennessee.. one

Republican Bob Corker a 12 point lead.

Senator John McCain headed to a Corker

working the phones for Republicans in
Pennsylvania.

(Sen. John McCain (R-AZ))

MCCAIN 1:03:35 weve some tough races,
one of them is right here in

Pennsylvania. But I am confident we got
a great get-out-and-vote effort.

Republicans and Democrats will both
focus on turnout today.. with one

common theme at campaign rallies.. a
plea for potential voters to

show-up tomorrow.

CLOSE: In addition to the fight for
control of Congress.. 36

governorships are at stake.. thats
where President Bush turns his

attention today.. stumping first in

have found another use for stem cells.

They used stem cells grown from mouse

The researchers say the cells saved the
lives of the mice that otherwise would
have died of liver failure.

Stem cells hold the ability to
transform into any kind of cell or

human embryonic stem cells is
controversial.

American children and teens are growing
ever-fatter tummies.. signaling a
higher risk for heart disease and

U-S researchers found that the belly
fat among young people has increased by
more than 65 percent since the 1990 s.

Belly fat is more dangerous than
general weight gain because it is more
clearly linked with disease.

(wipevo)

New research suggests regular exercise
can increase energy levels, even among
people suffering from chronic medical
conditions associated with fatigue,
like cancer and heart disease.

It may seem counterintuitive.. but
researchers say after studying the
exercise habits of nearly 7-thousand
people.. those who broke a sweat
regularly had increased energy in the
long run.

Japanese and U-S researchers say they
have found another use for stem cells.

(vo)

They used stem cells grown from mouse
embryos to help power a liver

replacement device.

The researchers say the cells saved the
lives of the mice that otherwise would
have died of liver failure.

Stem cells hold the ability to
transform into any kind of cell or
tissue in the body.. but the use of
human embryonic stem cells is
controversial.

(wipevo)

American children and teens are growing
ever-fatter tummies.. signaling a
higher risk for heart disease and
diabetes.

U-S researchers found that the belly
fat among young people has increased by
more than 65 percent since the 1990 s.

Belly fat is more dangerous than
general weight gain because it is more
clearly linked with disease.

(wipevo)

New research suggests regular exercise
can increase energy levels, even among
people suffering from chronic medical
conditions associated with fatigue,
like cancer and heart disease.

It may seem counterintuitive.. but
researchers say after studying the
exercise habits of nearly 7-thousand

people.. those who broke a sweat
regularly had increased energy in the
long run.

President Bush has been on the road
since Thursday trying to rally the

GOP faithful in red states where
Republican candidates face formidable

challenges.

BUSH 15:15:08 if the Democrats are so
good about being the party of the

opposition, let's just keep them in the
opposition

But the publics growing opposition to
the Iraq war has positioned

Democrats for a House takeover. The

Sunday in Connecticut.. where Democrats
are working to oust three at

(Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA))

PELOSI 23:54:06 This is an important
race. It is important because we

need 15 seats to win the House to take
back the Congress for the

American people.

While polls point to a Democratic take
over in the House.. the Senate is

a taller order.

Senator Barak Obama.. lent a hand to
Harold Ford in Tennessee.. one

recent poll gives Fords opponent
Republican Bob Corker a 12 point lead.

Senator John McCain headed to a Corker
event after hitting the trail and

working the phones for Republicans in
Pennsylvania.

(Sen. John McCain (R-AZ))

MCCAIN 1:03:35 weve some tough races,
one of them is right here in

Pennsylvania. But I am confident we got
a great get-out-and-vote effort.

Republicans and Democrats will both
focus on turnout today.. with one

common theme at campaign rallies.. a
plea for potential voters to

show-up tomorrow.

control of Congress.. 36

governorships are at stake.. thats
where President Bush turns his

this weekend to see the new Borat film.

"top spot" at the box office even
though it debuted in less than 900
theaters.

Last week, public opinion
in the Roanoke Valley seemed to be
mixed as to whether folks would see the
movie or not.

Some were still upset over the
"true life scene" where comedian Sacha
Baron Cohen purposely mangled the star
spangled banner at the Salem Rodeo.

Overall, the movie made over 26
million dollars.
