VO-NAT After his indictment last month

for allegedly covering up illegal
activities in his own department, the
sheriff first indicated he would take
an un-paid leave of absence.

Yesterday, his attorneys issued a

The statement says he realizes
many wanted him to "make a more formal
and permanent separation" from the
Sheriff's Department.

He acknowledged that the question
of his employment status has become a

The drug was sold at supermarkets

retailers... CVS, Dollar General,

Walmart among others.

To date, no illness or injuries
received related to this problem and no
consumer complaints have been reported

The FDA believes the probability
of serious adverse health consequences
is remote; however if a consumer were
to swallow an affected caplet, it could
result in minor stomach discomfort
and/or possible cuts to the mouth or
throat.

Consumers should consult their
physician if they suspect they've been

After criticism for putting too
many animals down, the Franklin County

convincing the County's Board of

Part of her job description is to
just be at the shelter.

But she will also promote
off-site events like adopt a thons and
go into schools to teach kids about
