GINA RENEE HALL'S BODY, AND WE'LL
CONTINUE TO DO SO.

Gina Hall was last seen alive in June
of 1980.

The 18-year old Radford College
freshman had gone out dancing with her
sister. Stephen Epperly picked her up
at the Marriott and talked her into

going to a party at Claytor Lake.

When they got to the cabin on the lake,
they were alone.

It's unclear exactly what happened at
the house... though police later found
enough blood and hair samples to
suggest the Hall girl did not survive a
gruesome assault.

Gina's sister's car was found at the
Pulaski County end of the railroad
trestle over the New River. A bundle
of Gina Hall's blood-stained clothes
later turned up along the tracks on the
Radford side of the water.

Epperly is still serving a life
sentence for murder, though he
maintains his innocence. Gina Hall's
remains have never been found.

IT'S QUITE OFTEN WE'LL TAKE A SLOW DAY
DURING THE WINTER AND MAYBE GO OUT AND
CHECK SOME PLACES THAT PEOPLE HAVE
CALLED ABOUT THE PREVIOUS YEAR. WE JUST
KIND OF JOT EM DOWN AND KEEP THAT LIST

Captain Lawson hopes this story may
produce some new leads. He echoes
Chief Harmon saying, "We have not given

commemoration of the Lewis and Clark
expedition.

clothing and tools.
