weatherman Jamey Singleton has been
fired from his job at Channell 10.

Singleton was "terminated" this
afternoon, though management at W-S-L-S
says it had nothing to do with
Singleton's admission of heroin use.

The station's interim manager
says it was due to "an inappropriate
photograph made public by way of
e-mail."

was sentenced in federal court.

Marc Lamarre.

Honaker's sentence could have

The judge told Honaker he'd come
very close to earning himself a LIFE
sentence.

Giles County ended with stabbings.

afternoon in the Ripplemead area of
Giles County.

The sheriff says two friends had
been drinking when they got into a
fight.

That's when, according to
authorities, Thomas Combs and William
Pyles stabbed one another with the same
knife.

Pyles was cut under his right
arm, and Combs was stabbed in the
chest, he was flown to Roanoke Memorial
Hospital as a precautionary measure.

20 stops and at each destination bikers
would join for a stretch of the ride.

from Afghanistan and Iraq.
