EVENT=TRAFFIC ALERT BANNER this morning--

One northbound lane of Interstate
81 in Botetourt county remains closed.

ENG#=1 VO-NAT

*CG locator Botetourt Co.

That after two tractor
trailers crashed near Arcadia
yesterday, closing both northbound and
one southbound lane.

The southbound lanes are now
open, along with the right northbound
lane, but V-DOT says the LEFT
northbound lane will take some time to
reopen while crews repair a hole in the
overpass.

The mess began when a
southbound tractor trailer hit a guard
rail and overturned on the bridge
across Route 11.

Its cargo broke loose and hit a
tractor trailer heading the other
direction.

Two hunters found a human skull
about two weeks ago in the woods behind
the Food Lion on Tyler Avenue.

Police believe the bones were
from a white man who was 30 or 40 years
old.

Last night, police said evidence
found near the remains lead them to a
name, but they it's too early to know
for sure.

It could take the medical
examiner weeks to "officially" identify
the body.

Police say they do NOT suspect
foul play at this time.
