meteorologist and house-mate Marc
Lamarre.
Neither man was charged with a crime.
Two men who supplied them heroin have
gone to jail.
The prosecutor says Singleton's drug
habit escalated from Nubain to heroin,
reaching the point where Singleton was
using 17 bags of heroin a day.

19-year old man on multiple
charges...among them...rape.
Police say late last night, a
Roanoke College sophomore called them
and said she had been raped at the
Moyer Sports complex.
After investigating, police say
they arrested and charged 19 year old
Jonathan Wesley Webb of Salem with
abduction, intent to defile, rape,
sodomy, burglary, and grand larceny.
He's being held in the Roanoke
County-Salem Jail without bond.

beams that will form the Freedom Tower

Some people were trampled in the rush,

was shot by two men trying to rob
people.

Head Coach of Michigan collapsed and
died today at a Detroit T-V Station.
He was 77 years old and coached the
Wolverines to almost 2-hundred wins in
his 20 years in Ann Arbor.
Schembechler had suffered 2 Heart
Attacks before in his life. One in
1970 the other in 1987.

is down to it's State Semi-Finals. We
had 3 Teams playing this evening at the
Seigel Center in Richmond with hopes of
advancing to the Finals Tommorrow.
Brookville won a State
Quarterfinal on the Road but was unable
to keep their season alive. Losing to
Loudon County in 5 games.

Cave Spring vs Grafton In the other Group Double "A"
semi-final defending Champion Cave
Spring had a large cheering section in
the state captial as they faced
Grafton. The Knight's will go for
another state Championship. They beat
the Clippers in 5 sets, Losing the
first set then winning the next 2 by
scores of 25-22 and finally prevailing
in the deciding Set.

Glenvar Highlanders were looking to
Glenvar vs Mathews keep their unbeaten season going as
they took on Mathews, that's Mathews
with one "T".
The Highlanders had little
problem in running their record to 27
