for Thanksgiving.

But if not done properly, it
could be a dangerous one.

*CG 2linel youtube.com

The Consumer Product Safety
Commission says deep fryers pose a fire
hazard and a burn hazard.

Raise and lower food slowly to
reduce splatter and burns.

The oil can also bubble-over and
catch fire if it reaches the flame.

Make sure the turkey is
completely thawed and dried off.

The water in a frozen turkey
expands and can cause an explosion.

Check the oil temperature
frequently.

And the most important rule is to
never use a fryer in a garage, car

port, breezeway, porch or on a deck.

Place the fryer outside in an
open area.

That way if it does catch fire,
you don't have to panic.

The Consumer Product Safety
Commission says deep fryers pose a fire
hazard and a burn hazard.

Raise and lower food slowly to
reduce splatter and burns.

The oil can also bubble-over and
catch fire if it reaches the flame.

Make sure the turkey is
completely thawed and dried off.

The water in a frozen turkey
expands and can cause an explosion.

Check the oil temperature
frequently.

And the most important rule is to
never use a fryer in a garage, car
port, breezeway, porch or on a deck.

Place the fryer outside in an
open area.

That way if it does catch fire,
you don't have to panic.
