They're so popular, in fact, that we
understand a record number of people
are expected to buy gift cards this
year.
According to the National Retail
Federation, sales of the cards will
increase 34-percent over last year to
nearly 25 billion dollars.
But it's important to point out buyer
beware.
Some cards carry expiration dates or
fees.
For example, some retailers charge
inactivity fees such as subtracting one
or two dollars for every month you
don't use the card.
And also keep in mind, many cards
that are lost of stolen will not be

Yesterday He escaped from a spinning
gyroscope suspended about 40 feet above
new York's Times Square.
Because his latest stunt was a
success....he's taking 100 children and
their families on a shopping spree.
The Salvation Army selected the
kids and Target is giving each of them
a 500 dollar gift certificate.
Blaine says this stunt was
particularly important to him because
HE got clothes from the Salvation Army
while he was growing up.
