Millions of travelers hit the
road over the past five days.
And as they return home, drivers
ran into heavy congestion on Interstate
81 between Blacksburg and Roanoke.
There have also been some delays
on I-81 South in Botetourt County.
Today was also the second busiest
days of the Thanksgiving holiday season
out at Roanoke Regional Airport, with
more than one thousand passengers
departing the area.

lookout for smoke.
Starting tomorrow, the water
department will be smoke testing
collection lines throughout the
sanitary sewer system.
To do this, workers will have to
blow non-toxic smoke into sewer mains -
that way they can spot flaws or leaks.
The effects should be minimal,
however drivers are asked to be careful
around manholes.
The testing should take a few
months to complete.
