Last night another coach was
fired by his alma mater as N.C. State
got rid of Chuck Amato after seven up
and down seasons. The former Wolfpack
linebacker had a 49-and-37 record in
Raleigh and led the team to five bowl
games. But his squads were 25-31 in the
Atlantic Coast Conference and never
finished higher than fourth. This
season, N.C. State lost seven straight
games to finish with a losing record

for the second time in three seasons.

you're actually feeling okay?

If so, you're in good company.

A new survey by CareerBuilder- dot-
com finds nearly a third of

us have used a sick day in the last
year to catch up on sleep or otherwise
relax.

Many employers seem to be O- K with
it, but career advisors warn against
using sick days as vacation days--
especially if you're spotted out and

about.
