water department will be smoke testing
collection lines throughout the
sanitary sewer system.

To do this, workers will have to
blow non-toxic smoke into sewer mains -

Roanoke Police say a vehicle went
out of control around 3 this morning,
flipped and went through the porch of a
home at 8-19 Harrison Avenue. Arrests
were made at the scene. No one was
injured.

accident on Bethlehem Road in Franklin
County. According to a first
responder on the scene there was a head
on collision between a mini van and
another car.

Five people had to be rescued -

Cassell is expected in court today.
Cassell stepped down after being
