the murder of a woman whose body was
found in the Roanoke Rover.

The arrest of a suspect in the
death of 41-year old Karen Elkins was
based on information from two
confidential sources.

Police are not naming the sources, but
they cite information those
confidentail sources provided in a
search warrant affidavit.

One of them told police that Aaron Gray
picked up Elkins, that she got into his
truck "voluntarily," and "asked for a
ride."

They got into a dispute, the source
said, and Gray shot the victim, then
discarded the body.

October 20 Elkins' body was found in the Roanoke
River last month near Wiley Drive.

The same informant led police to a
place where items taken from Gray were
located. Elkins' boyfriend confirmed
the things had belonged to her,
according to police.

Gray's Mother didn't know the victim,
doesn't know whether Aaron could have
killed Karen Elkins.

The last couple of months had been
difficult, Dreama Ramsey says.

Police.

Chris Ellis apologized for the
altercation in court this morning.

It happened in September where a
crowd had gathered on Draper Road after
the bars closed.

Police arrived and saw Morgan punch
the window of a passing truck.

When Morgan was pepper sprayed
and arrested, Ellis incited an angry
crowd to yell at police.

joining the clinic, one is retiring,
three are going to work exclusively
with Lewis-Gale Medical Center, and 11
will rotate between the two facilities.

For Carilion that means its typical

staff of Radiologists will drop by
nearly half. But it is already working
on plan to deal with the changes.

Arkansas this Saturday in Atlanta.

The Winner is most likely headed

L-S-U seems destined for the Rose Bowl.

wrapped up last night and once again
the Atlantic Coast Conference came out
on top for the 8th straight time. The
final tally was 8 to 3. The last game
to finish up this year was a Clemson
win over Minnesota.

Golden Gophers head Coach Dan Monson.
It was the fifth straight loss for
Minnesota, that included lossing all 3

games at the Old Spice Classic last
week a tournament that Virginia Tech
played in. Monson choose to resign
instead of being fired. The move
allows for him to what else. Get more
money.

SeaWorld in San Diego in front

of a terrified crowd.

The five thousand pound whale pinned
the man at the bottom of a tank for
about a minute then released him and
pinned him again.

It didn't take long for the crowd
at the Shamu Stadium to realize

something was not right.

The trainer had practiced the stunt
with the whale thousands of times ...
but this time the whale bit his leg.

He was able to get himself free, but
he did suffer a broken foot.
