after a game in September that fire
spilled out onto the streets of
Blacksburg.

Police were called out to break up a
crowd on Draper Road, after the bars
closed.

Roanoke River last month was shot as

she sat in Aaron Gray's truck.

An affidavit filed in court this
morning indicates the 29-year old
suspect picked up Karen Elkins... that
she ASKED him for a ride.

"There was a dispute between" them,
police say, then "Gray shot the victim
in the truck and discarded the body."

student accused of making a bomb and

is headed to a grand jury.

"Jon-a-ka Seer-war-deena" is facing
numerous charges, including making an
explosive device.

Investigators say he placed a
bomb and cocaine in the apartment of a

friend and then reported the friend to
police.

A judge certified the felony
charges and convicted Siriwardena
Seer-war-deena of misdemeanor filing a
false police report.

He was fined 100 dollars and
given a suspended jail sentence.

The defense plans to appeal the
conviction to circuit court.

wreck in Franklin County.

Southern's plans to build a rail
center.

build the center in the Elliston area.

Police say Beard resisted arrest
and assaulted an officer. His

Virginia Tech. The Junior Linebacker

had 4 and half Sacks this season and
over 50 Tackles for a 5 and 7 Wahoo

this November marks the first time
since joining the ACC that a Virginia
Tech quarterback didn't earn first team
all-ACC honors.

Last year Marcus Vick earned the
first team spot and the year before it

Sean Glennon didn't get that kind
of recognition, but he did lead the
