down last night after someone found
white powder in a piece of their mail.

she thought was junk mail and found the
powdery substance.

The post master was alerted and
the building went on lock down

State Police responded and turned

positive for any poisons.

School today, after a fire forced an
evacuation yesterday afternoon.

Crews responded to Hidden Valley
Middle School just before two o'clock

after smoke started to pour out of a
girls' bathroom.

An incident commander says while
the fire was confined to the bathroom,
smoke was a problem and large fans were
brought in to clear out the smell.

A school official says the fire
started after someone stuffed paper
into the toilet in a girls' bathroom
-and lit it.

is in good condition after being
attacked by Shamu, the killer whale.

During a show yesteday afternoon,
authorities say the whale grabbed the
trainer's foot and pulled him
underwater

twice.

The 39- year- old trainer and whale
went underwater, and were able to

emerge with the trainer jumping off the
whale's nose.

Officials say the trainer and whale
have worked together for 12 years, and
that this behavior was unusual.

sheriff's deputy and his wife.

State police say Deputy Tim Jones
died of multiple gunshot wounds.

grand jury on two counts of
manufacturing marijuana and possession
of Psilocyn (Sill-uh-sin), a drug found

Investigators say one of the
apartments was only used to grow the
plants.

Spurgeon is expected to plead
guilty next week- and under a plea
deal- would serve 3-months in jail.
