We do not have many details at
this time, but we know it happened at
the Valley View Drive intersection by
the Chick-Fil-A restaurant.

Witnesses told us paramedics were
performing C-P-R on the victim as he
lay in the street.

Police radio dispatches told
officers to be on the lookout for a
suspect vehicle, but with no official
information released yet, we are not
broadcasting any description.

No word yet on the victim's
identity or condition.

GRAPHIC=Murder Investigation The Henry County Sheriff's office

is investigating what appears to be a
triple shooting. They believe a
90-year-old man pulled the trigger on
his wife, his daughter, then himself.

ENG#=3 TAKE VO

TAKE VO Authorities were called this NO SUPER morning to Remus Road in the Dyers
Store area of the county northeast of
Martinsville.

Investigators say 90-year-old
Howard McClendon fired a 38-calibre
handgun three times.

His 85-year-old wife Lelia was
shot in the head and pronounced dead at
the hospital.

McClendon's daughter, 49-year-old
Devra Murrell, was also shot in the
head.

At last word, she was in critical
condition at a North Carolina hospital.

Investigators believe McClendon
then turned the gun on himself.

He was pronounced dead at the

scene.

It's a facility that would move
trucks from trains onto the highway.

The original site being

look elsewhere.

Right now they're considering
nine locations in the Roanoke Valley.

Two of them in Roanoke, and
another near Colorado Street along the
railroad's main lines in Salem.

(END SOT) was packed nearly an hour before

kickoff - and in the battle of the
entrance signs - Richlands' proved to
contain more truth in advertising.

The Blue Tornado did stick a fork

in the Titans - but most of Hidden

Eight Titan turnovers - six in the
second half - quickly turned a 14-to-7
game at the half into a blowout.

While Richlands was rolling up 44
totals points and 30 in the second half
alone - HIdden Valley's only score
against the Blue Tornado's first team
defense was this 64 yard reverse by
junior Nelson Musselman.

Hidden Valley's top tailback
David Turner was knocked out with a
concussion and the Titans season was
fnished off by a stingy, opportunistic
defense. Hidden Valley finishes the

improves to 13 and 0 heading into the
