File Tape It has to do with the ongoing
problems at Bogle Field.
One year, the field was re- soded but
the grass died after it wasn't watered
properly.
Add to that, you have two teams
constantly using the field which has
created plenty of wear and tear.
It's even worse when it rains,
turning Bogle Field into a muddy mess.
As a result, many parents have
complained the field is sometimes
unsafe.
So last night, the Roanoke County
school board allocated 800-thousand
dollars to put in artificial turf at
Bogle Field.
The hope is to have it installed by
next fall.
