two year old missing person's case that
has ties to southside.

Yesterday, authorities found the
body they believe is Jonathan Blackwell
of Reidsville North Carolina.

A suspect, 31 year old Stacey
Maurice Webster, turned himself in
yesterday evening.

VO NAT This mystery started in October 2004
when Jonathan Blackwell dispeared after
leaving work at the Goodyear Plant in
Danville.

October 2004 A week later, the 33 year old's burnt
out car was found in the woods just
over the border in Pittsylvania County.

Investigators got a break this week
when they got a tip his body was buried
in a barn in Guilford County.

Yesterday morning his body was found
about 30 yards from that barn.

Last night, Blackwell's mother called
the man she believes murdered her son a
coldheartered person.

If the union rejects the
contract, negotiations could resume, or
they could vote to strike.

Rescue teams hope a break in the
weather will allow them to reach the
mountains upper elevations.

A The National Guard C-130 equipped
with infrared imaging to detect body
heat circled the area yesterday but
turned up nothing.

The men have been missing since
Sunday when they got caught in
treacherous weather on the mountain.
The last clue of the climbers
whereabouts was a cellphone signal on
Tuesday.

The Pacific-northwest has been
getting slammed by another storm coming
on-shore this week... and that's lead
to some problems.

Power crews from California
headed up to Oregon Friday night to

help restore power to thousands of
residents hit by a huge wind storm.

Seventy-five employees, including
crew and support personnel from
California will help Portland General
Electric restore power across the
state.

There are 375-thousand customers
without power as a result of Thursday's
storm.

They crews will be in Oregon at
least 4-5 days replacing poles and
hanging wires.

Idaho has also been pummeled by
high winds causing widespread damage
and power outages.

One person woke up Friday to find
his truck's front end in the air, stuck
in the roots of a fallen tree. It is
not known how he's going to get his
truck off the tree.

Power was out to thousands of
residents and the local utility company
warned residents it could be 24 hours
before the power is restored.

Castro is dying of cancer.

with the Cuban leader twice by phone on
Thursday. He says Castro is eating
cautiously and well enough to joke. He
does admit Castro is suffering from
what he describes as "serious illness".

expeditions.
