The Board of Supervisors voted to
rezone 125 acres of land near the

The county is buying the property

it for a 350-bed regional jail that
Amherst, Appomattox and Bedford

Titans vs. Cavaliers First year Titans' coach Mike
:00 McGuire was shorthanded tonight as
starter Abby Boggs was out with a
sprained ankle she hurt in the
Northside game.
In her absence the other Abbys on
the team got busy - Abby Redick takes
the pass from Amanda Crotty and squares
up to hit the jumper from the left
elbow.
Then Abby Oliver will then use a
great Redick Pick and curl to the key.
Oliver cans the jumper and the Titans
are rolling.
Give Botetourt credit for
scrapping all the way. Sarah Boeren
steals the ball from Oliver and watch
her take it coast-to-coast - shake off
another defender and hit the tough pull
up jumper.
But there were too few of those
and too many of these.

Salem's defense makes itself

Byrd's A.J. Board would take
Chuck Farabaugh to school with this
sweet move into the paint as he drops
