That's how an Oregon Sheriff

describes the effort to find the
missing climbers on Mount Hood.

City, administrators are calling it a
success.

Beacons this week.

They're little gold tins filled
with goodies and a flashing light to

The beacons are two dollars, but

Derrick McFarland and Eric Sutphin
Memorial funds.

They are the two officers killed
in the line of duty in August.

Hicks violated a rule when he opted

school day was extended in Roanoke
City, administrators are calling it a
success. For example at Morningside
Elementary, teachers are using that
extra time for what is called Star
