August police say he over powered a
deputy, took his gun and killed 30
year-old Montgomery Regional Hospital
security officer Derrick McFarland.

captial murder in the death of
Sheriff's Deputy Corporal Eric Sutphin.

During the hearing, Morva's
attorneys were granted a motion to hire
what's called a mitigation
specialist,someone who will help dig
up information about Morva's life.

The judge ordered the defense to
seek additional options for a mental
