snow drifts." Nearly 5 thousand people
spent the night at Denver International
AIRPORT...munching on pizza and
watching computer screens covered with

know." More than 30 inches OF SNOW fell
in the mountains and up to 2 feet has
covered Denver prompting Governor Bill
Owens to declare a state of emergency
and activate the National Guard. MOS:

hazardous...mail service has been
suspended for a second day and All
transit systems have been shut down in
Denver�the downtown is ghostown. Track
And Colorado isn't the only state
feeling this winter blast. From

neighboring Nebraska all the way to

to find a silver lining in the snow
clouds.

Several hundred flights were
cancelled today from London's Heathrow
airport after a second day of thick
fog.

British Airways says the fog forced
it to cancel all domestic flights in
and out of Heathrow, along with a
number of European services.

Other airlines are expected to be
affected, as well.

Airport officials estimate as many as
350 flights will be cancelled.

But a new government survey says
they may be abusing LEGAL drugs
instead.

The National Institute on Drug
Abuse has released its annual survey.

It finds a small, but growing
number of teens are popping
prescription painkillers like OxyContin
and Vicodin.

And one in 14 high school seniors
say they recently used cold medicine to
get high.

Noting that teens may be stealing
prescription medicines from their

parents' cabinets, the government
suggests throwing away any un- used

Kentucky Derby winner is seen walking
around with a slight hitch-- but
WITHOUT bandages on his broken right
hind- leg.

Barbaro fractured the leg during
the Preakness.

Even though doctors say the Derby
winner's health is still at risk,he may
soon be able to leave intensive care.

Barbaro has been through seven months
of recovery, including a delicate
surgery.
