who was shot and killed Friday night.

victim as 20 year-old, Darrius M. Brown
of Roanoke.

Around seven last night, police
were called to the intersection of 14th
Street and Patterson Avenue.

When they arrived, they found
Brown had been shot.

Authorities are looking for the
gunman.

One of purse snatchings happend

out why a tiger would attack a human
being.

that Tiki will begin his new career in
broadcasting next year with ABC.

the former Cave Spring Knight will
apparently do both sports and news for
ABC and ESPN. He could have a role on
20/20 and even Monday Night Football.

tonight.

Cincinnati and the Wolfpack was
certainly in the giving spirit today as
N.C. State turned the ball over 32
times to the Bearcats. Deonta Vaughn
scored 25 points and sparked a
Cincinnati rally that would see the
Bearcats overcome a three point
halftime deficit to beat the Pack
80-to-71. He had six steals and nine

today with three games - one of those
was the Papa John's Bowl at Legion
Field in Birmingham, Alabama as East
Carolina faced

The Bulls beat West Virginia to
close out the regular season and today
they jumped on top of East Carolina
14-to-nothing behind two rushing TDs

this season, came back with the long
ball. James Pinckney fires a 48 yard
strike down the sideline to Bobby Good
to make it a 14-to-7 game after the
first quarter.

but the money they raise actually
carries the Salvation Army through
almost all of next year

About 30 kettles have been
scattered around the Roanoke Valley
this holiday.

The goal was to raise 170
thousand dollars they've exceeded that
by bringing in 180 thousand.

The money raised will go to local
organizations such as the women's
shelter and the men's lodge.

However more people have already
come forward asking for financial
assistance this year.
