ranging from healthcare to pension
wages.
They say if they company doesn't
make some signifcant changes, they will

shooting that we first brought to you
yesterday.
Police have identified a man
killed in the northwest part of the
city.

Roanoke Police say the victim is
20 year-old, Darrius M. Brown of
Roanoke.
Around 7:00 Friday night, police
were called to the intersection of 14th
Street and Patterson Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found
that Brown had been shot.
Authorities pronounced him dead
at the scene.
No arrests have been made.
And they're still searching for
the shooter.

picking up speed again after a snow
storm in Colorado threw air travel for
a tailspin.

delays Friday due to foggyy conditions

holiday weekend - after two reported
purse snatchings and an armed robbery
yesterday.
One of purse snatchings happend
outside of the First Citizen's Bank on
Main Street, the other one happend on
First Street.
Police are also investigating an
armed robbery that took place last
night at 8:15 at the River Street Mart
on River Street.
No one was hurt.
Danville police do not believe
the incidents are related.

:00 battle of the big men as Florida's
Joakim Noah went head to head with
Ohio State freshman Greg Oden.
Oden is a work in progress and at
the same time - an incredible talent as
evidenced by his play - especially on
the defensive end of the floor.
But Florida pushed its lead into
double digits a couple of times, and
held off several Buckeye rallies to
post the 86 to 60 win.

contineed today with the Papa John's
Bowl at Legion Field in Birmingham,
Alabama as East Carolina faced

ESPN2 one of the most underrated teams
:00 in the country - South Florida.
The Bulls beat West Virginia to
close out the regular season and today
they jumped on top of East Carolina
14-to-nothing behind two rushing TDs
from Benjamin Williams.
But the Pirates, who beat UVA
this season, came back with the long
ball. James Pinckney fires a 48 yard
strike down the sideline to Bobby Good
to make it a 14-to-7 game after the
first quarter.
But the rest of the way it was
all South Florida.

East Carolina ball of his own with the ross to Amarri

Papa John's Bowl Carolina 24 to 7 for the school's first

friends will gather all over the region
to exhange gifts and share some holiday
cheer.
Due to some rather ridiculous
rules that call for participants in the
Chick fil-a bowl to be in Atlanta by
Monday, the Hokies will be spending
Christmas in Atlanta.
Grant Kittelson not being home
for the Holidays has become the norm
for the bowl bound Hokies.
